Misconceptions about Martial Arts


You need to be in shape to do Martial Arts . NOT TRUE, we will get you into shape.

I am too old to start now .  NOT TRUE, you are never too old to start. Your training may vary slightly from that of other students.


I don’t have enough time to train . NOT TRUE Training can take as little 2 to 4 hours a week. It’s up to you.


Karate is for people who want to learn to fight .  NOT TRUE, People get into Karate for many reasons. Those who are looking for a fight do not last long in Martial Arts.


Karate classes are just for men .  NOT TRUE, we have a large number of female students both kids and adults who train just as hard, if not harder than the men.
